Outdoor Lab

This year our 6th graders will be attending the following week:

 January 31 - February 4  Challenger Point Windy Peak
 February 7 - February 11  Mt. Elbert Windy Peak
 February 7 - February 11  Torreys Peak Mt. Evans


All students will follow this schedule during their week to attend Outdoor Lab.

COVID Testing

Students will attend school as usual on Monday, and receive a COVID test.

Leave for Outdoor Lab

Students will arrive at school at 8:30am with all of the items in their packing list ready to go!

Parent Letter This Parent Letter that was sent out earlier this school year.
Packing List  This list will include everything your child needs to take. Please keep in mind that the weather will most likely be very cold, so pack a lot of warm layers. 
Parent Presentation  Review the Parent Presentation given by Mr. Morgan in November. 
Payment The cost of the trip is $280. Fees can be paid via Parent Portal.

Supplemental Medical Form
  1. If your are sending any medication to Outdoor Lab, you must complete this form and return it with the medication in the original pharmaceutical container to KCMS Clinic. Label each container with your child's name. 
  2. All students taking medication of any kind, including inhalers, vitamins, supplements, cough drops, etc., must give them to the school nurse/health aide before your child's trip. Do not pack medication in your child's bag.
  3. Prescriptions and over-the-counter medications must be in their original containers.
